About Tapestry Wellness Counseling
A compassionate space for healing, growth, and authentic connection.
Meet Patricia Maynard, LPC-MHSP, NCC
Founder | Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified PCIT Therapist, Certified Parent Coach

For over 20 years, Patricia has walked alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. Her work is grounded in respect, empathy, and deep belief in the resilience of the human spirit.
Patricia understands the courage it takes to be vulnerable in therapy. Her role is to hold space for that vulnerability — meeting each client with compassion, curiosity, and a non-judgmental presence.
Using an integrative approach, she helps clients uncover their strengths and move toward lives that feel more balanced, purposeful, and uniquely their own. She integrates mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical wellness, creating a supportive environment where clients can explore, heal, and grow.
“Therapy is not about changing who you are — it’s about rediscovering the parts of you that have always been strong.”
Originally from Barbados, Patricia has called Memphis home for more than 26 years. Outside the therapy room, she’s a loyal Memphis Grizzlies and New York Yankees fan, an admirer of Roger Federer, and still holds “24” as her all-time favorite TV series.
Meet Rebekah R. Barrom, LPC-MHSP, NCC
Independent Associate – Tapestry Wellness Counseling
Since beginning her counseling career in 2007, Rebekah has dedicated herself to helping individuals, families, and groups navigate trauma, parenting, depression, anxiety, and conflict resolution.
She has a particular passion for supporting adolescents and women, creating a safe, affirming environment where clients feel heard and empowered.
Rebekah brings extensive experience in trauma treatment — including adverse childhood experiences, domestic violence, human trafficking, and other forms of victimization. Her work is both clinical and deeply compassionate, guided by a calling to walk alongside those who have endured hardship in their most vulnerable moments.
Drawing from evidence-based practices and Christian principles, Rebekah uses an integrative, collaborative approach tailored to each person’s unique story.
Rebekah also provides immigration psychological evaluations — impartial assessments used in legal immigration cases for those seeking U.S. permanent residence visas. These evaluations, typically lasting 4–5 hours, include psychological testing, collateral information review, a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment, diagnostic insights, and professional recommendations. Evaluations are available for: U-Visa; T-Visa; VAWA; and DACA
Born and raised in Memphis, TN, Rebekah now resides in Mississippi with her husband — affectionately known as “Mr. Darcy” — and their two “perfect” children. Between mom life and her professional work, she finds joy in leading small-group studies at her church and discovering new adventures through family travel.
