Helping high-achieving, anxious adults find steadiness, purpose, and relief from perfectionism in Memphis and beyond.

You've Probably Already Tried to Handle This Yourself

You're used to figuring things out. You've read the books, made the lists, pushed through. But the anxiety is still there, and so is the quiet feeling that you should be further along by now than you are.

Why I Do This Work

For much of my early adulthood, anxiety, perfectionism, and over-functioning ran my life. I believed I had to overperform to matter, to be seen, driven by self-doubt and a persistent sense of not being enough. It took real courage to open up to a caring professional and begin understanding and shifting patterns of exhaustion and second-guessing that had shaped so many parts of my life.

Moving beyond those internal pressures gave me a clear sense of purpose: to work with people who are me, just with a different name and a different story.

I understand the courage it takes to be vulnerable in therapy. My role is to hold space for that vulnerability, meeting each client with compassion, curiosity, and a non-judgmental presence.

An Integrative Approach, Rooted in Evidence

I don't work from a single script. Our work together draws from several evidence-based approaches, shaped around what you actually need, not a fixed protocol. Faith can be part of that conversation when it matters to you, but it's never assumed or required.

A Bit More About Me

Originally from Barbados, I've called Memphis home for more than 32 years. Outside the therapy room, you'll find me cheering for the Grizzlies, watching tennis, or rewatching an old favorite show. I bring the same steadiness to my own life that I hope to help you build in yours.

What I Believe

“Therapy is not about changing who you are: it's about rediscovering the parts of you that have always been strong.”
